With a “head in the clouds and feet on the ground” essence, The Red Barber bar offers an elevated, playful escape where guests can linger over the golden hour six stories above the city. The 3,300 square-foot space offers richly textured brick, tile, and concrete terrazzo paired with a contrasting plush velvet and vibrantly colored high-gloss finishes that lend a whimsical vibe to the experience. Existing structural columns were cladded and molded to create an interior canopy of trees with a custom pink banquette snaking through the space. The sculptural interiors transition to the exterior where the summer daydream theme is carried out by way of topiary trees and garden gnomes. The design methodology is artful, surprising, and eccentrically beautiful.
